CDCP and ODSP coverage at Mystic Pointe Dental
We accept most dental benefit plans, including the Canadian Dental Care Plan and the Ontario Disability Support Program.
Coverage can be confusing — we’ll help you understand what’s covered and any copay before your visit.
If you’re covered under CDCP
CDCP can help cover the cost of basic dental care if you don’t have private insurance.
The level of coverage depends on your household income and may be 100%, 60%, or 40% of eligible dental services.
Applications are completed through the federal government. Once approved, you can use your coverage at our clinic.
CDCP includes services such as:
- exams, X-rays, and checkups
- cleanings, fluoride, and sealants
- fillings and root canals
- tooth removals
- dentures (partial or full)
- some oral surgery procedures
Some services may require pre-approval.
If you’re covered under ODSP
Dental coverage through ODSP is most often used for necessary care, such as routine visits or treatment related to pain or infection.
Coverage can vary from person to person. Some services may be fully covered, while others have limits or require approval.
ODSP coverage can be used for:
- exams and checkups
- cleanings
- X-rays
- fillings
- tooth removals
- emergency dental visits
- dentures (partial or full), when approved
